This role requires expertise in APIs, middleware, cloud platforms, and enterprise service buses (ESBs). Integration Architects collaborate with business and IT teams to align integration solutions with organizational goals and ensure scalability and performance.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an integration architect?

To thrive as an Integration Architect, you need a strong background in software architecture, systems integration, and expertise in designing scalable IT solutions, typically supported by a degree in computer science or a related field. Familiarity with integration platforms (such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or Informatica), APIs, cloud services, and certifications like TOGAF or relevant vendor accreditations are highly valued.
