Hyperion International Technologies is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to support our controls and automation project team. This role is critical to keeping proposals, design submittals, shop production, and startup activities on track across multiple simultaneous projects in the water and wastewater treatment industry.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, develop, and track proposals and scope documents for new and ongoing projects
  • Assemble, issue, and track design submittals through client and engineer review cycles
  • Manage and maintain the shop fabrication schedule, coordinating with production staff to meet delivery milestones
  • Assist purchasing with material ordering, inventory management, and shipping and receiving
  • Coordinate and track field startup schedules, communicating status to project managers and field technicians
  • Maintain organized project documentation and correspondence
Requirements:
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field or equivalent work experience is preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in industrial automation, control systems, or systems integration preferred
  • Familiarity with PLC/HMI-based control systems and panel fabrication workflows
  • Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical specifications
  • Proficiency with project tracking tools and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with engineers, vendors, and clients

Preferred

  • Experience in the water or wastewater treatment industry
  • Familiarity with SCADA systems and instrumentation
  • Experience with ERP or project management software
