Please review the following job description:

The Director of Premier and Branch Banking Business Management is the senior business management and executive advisory leader to Premier and Branch Banking leadership, enabling Premier and Branch Banking and the Head of Premier and Branch Banking Administration to operate more effectively. The role operates with broad enterprise visibility and accountability, converting C-suite and Board priorities into an integrated management agenda, disciplined operating rhythms, informed executive decisions, and measurable business outcomes across Premier and Branch Banking.

This leader owns the strategy, quality, and orchestration of executive presentations and business reviews for the CEO, Board, Executive Leadership, and other senior governance forums; establishes and governs key leadership routines; directs strategic planning and business-case development and leads executive communications partnership. The Director exercises significant judgment and influence, integrates enterprise-wide inputs, challenges assumptions, frames recommendations and tradeoffs, and drives seniorโ€‘leader alignment, accountability, and timely executionโ€”without duplicating ownership of teammate experience programs or broader initiative delivery assigned to other leaders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  • Cโ€‘suite and Board presentations and business reviews: Own the endโ€‘toโ€‘end strategy, storyline, content governance, and delivery readiness of Premier and Branch Banking materials for the CEO, Board, Executive Leadership, and other senior forums. Determine the critical insights, decisions, risks, and tradeoffs to elevate; integrate business and financial inputs; and hold contributors accountable for accuracy, clarity, and executiveโ€‘level quality.
  • Executive operating governance: Establish and govern the business operating rhythm, including Purpose to Performance (P2P), monthly Senior Leadership Team meetings, and other recurring leadership and governance forums. Set the agenda and decision architecture, direct preparation and preโ€‘reads, facilitate executive alignment, document decisions, and ensure commitments are executed.
  • Enterprise strategic planning: Direct annual and multiโ€‘year planning for Premier and Branch Banking, translating enterprise priorities into an integrated strategic agenda with defined outcomes, investment requirements, performance measures, dependencies, and executive decision points.
  • Business cases and investment decisions: Own the governance and executive positioning of business cases for material opportunities and investments. Ensure recommendations incorporate strategic rationale, financial returns, client and teammate impacts, risks, capacity, implementation requirements, and clear choices for senior decisionโ€‘makers.
  • Executive communications strategy: Serve as the senior business partner to Corporate Communications for executive messaging, talking points, organizationโ€‘wide updates, and leadership narratives. Own alignment of communications to strategy, performance, enterprise context, and leadership intent.
  • Senior executive advisory: Act as a trusted strategic advisor and enterprise integrator to senior leadership by anticipating emerging priorities, structuring complex or ambiguous issues, challenging assumptions, synthesizing disparate information, and advancing clear recommendations and decisions.
  • Enterprise integration and influence: Convene and influence senior leaders across Finance, Strategy, Human Capital, Risk, Technology, Legal, Communications, and the business to resolve competing priorities, secure commitments, manage dependencies, and deliver integrated outcomes without direct authority over all contributors.
  • Decision, risk, and action governance: Establish visibility and accountability for material leadership decisions, commitments, risks, escalations, and interdependencies. Drive resolution of issues that could affect business performance, strategic delivery, reputation, or executive commitments.
  • Executiveโ€‘sponsored priorities: Lead highly confidential, complex, and timeโ€‘sensitive assignments on behalf of senior leadership when the work requires enterprise coordination, executive judgment, senior stakeholder influence, or rapid mobilization.
  • Risk, control, and governance discipline: Set expectations for data integrity, appropriate challenge, escalation, and control rigor across executive materials, reporting, strategic planning, and operating routines; ensure decisions and recommendations reflect the organizationโ€™s risk appetite and governance standards.
  • Team leadership: May have responsibility for leading a team of analysts and specialists who provide analytical, planning, presentation, and business management support aligned to the roleโ€™s primary objectives. Establish priorities and quality standards, develop talent, allocate capacity, and hold the team accountable for timely, accurate, and executiveโ€‘ready outcomes.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Finance, Management, Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in business management, strategy, executive advisory, corporate planning, consulting, finance, or financial services, including significant experience operating with senior executives.
  • Demonstrated ownership of Cโ€‘suite, Board, or enterprise executive presentations, business reviews, strategic narratives, and decision materials involving complex business, financial, risk, and reputational considerations.
  • Exceptional executive presence, strategic judgment, and communication acumen, with the ability to frame complex issues, challenge constructively, articulate tradeoffs, and influence decisions at the highest levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to establish and govern senior leadership operating routines, align crossโ€‘functional executives, and drive enterprise commitments and outcomes in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Advanced strategic, analytical, and financial acumen, including ownership of enterprise planning, performance management, investment cases, and executiveโ€‘level reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, navigate ambiguity and organizational sensitivity, and resolve competing priorities involving senior stakeholders.
  • Impeccable discretion and sound judgment in managing confidential, marketโ€‘sensitive, reputationally significant, and timeโ€‘critical matters for Cโ€‘suite and senior executives.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, with a demonstrated record of producing Boardโ€‘and Cโ€‘suiteโ€‘ready deliverables under tight timelines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Graduate degree in Business, Finance, Management, or a related discipline.
  • Significant financial services experience with deep knowledge of consumer banking, affluent and premier client segments, branch banking, distribution strategy, and enterprise governance.
  • Experience leading a business management, strategy, enterprise planning, executive advisory, governance, or transformation function with direct accountability for senior executive deliverables and outcomes.
  • Graduate Banking School or completion of advanced executive leadership development programs.
