Job description

A full-time, on-site Personal Injury Legal Assistant in office located in Downtown Salt Lake City, UT, with experience assisting a Personal Injury Attorney required, and personal injury litigation experience strongly preferred.  The legal assistant will support attorney in working and managing personal injury cases, including, but not limited to, using a cutting-edge CMS (Case Management System), client intake documents, letters to insurance companies, using an advanced system to get clients' medical bills and medical records, organizing files, maintaining case calendars, and tracking deadlines, errands and a variety of other assistance, and more, as Personal Injury Attorney instructs.  Daily tasks include, but are not limited to, preparing and formatting legal documents, drafting correspondence, assisting with litigation including Discovery, Depositions, Expert Witnesses, Mediation, and coordinating with Courts, medical providers, insurance companies, and clients.  The position involves client care and communication, gathering and organizing evidence, managing incoming and outgoing communications, and updating case management systems.  The Personal Injury Legal Assistant or Paralegal will also assist with trial preparation and provide general administrative support to ensure awesome day-to-day operations of the firm.
