An Intake Clinician is a healthcare professional responsible for assessing new clients or patients to determine their needs and appropriate treatment options. They conduct initial evaluations, gather medical and psychological history, and collaborate with a care team to develop treatment plans. Intake Clinicians often work in hospitals, mental health facilities, or addiction treatment centers, ensuring patients receive the right level of care.
