Friendship Hospital for Animals, a leading AAHA- accredited hospital located in Washington D.C. is seeking composed and compassionate Emergency/Critical Care (ECC) Coordinators to join our dynamic team. If you are detail oriented and love the adrenaline rush of the ER - we'd love to meet you!
About the role:
The ECC coordinator plays a critical role in supporting seamless patient flow, case coordination, and communication with our medical teams. This person is extremely organized, thrives in a fast pace environment, and goes above and beyond to make sure the needs of both the client and the medical teams are met. Among other duties, this person will assist with intake and discharge, facilitate with scheduling of follow up services and transfers, as well as uphold empathetic and professional communication in a dynamic environment. Our ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver and has worked in a veterinary emergency setting in a client facing role previously.
Schedule: This is a full time role with four 10 hour shifts per week. Some weekends and holidays are required.

Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Previous experience in a veterinary hospital, specifically ER, a huge plus.
  • Must be able to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary medical team.
