The opportunity

We currently have an opportunity for a Financial Systems Analyst to join our Finance team based in our Plymouth, MN or Canton, MA office on a hybrid schedule. The Financial Systems Analyst supports and maintains finance systems to ensure accurate data, reliable reporting, and compliant processes. The role assists with system maintenance, financial close activities, reporting, and issue resolution, and works with Finance and IT partners to support system enhancements and process improvements.

  •  Support and maintain finance systems, including structures, codes, workflows, and integrations, to ensure accurate data and reporting.
  • Assist with finance system activities during the financial close, including reconciliations and issue resolution ensuring accurate and timely task completion.
  • Provide functional support for finance systems by responding to requests, triaging issues, and resolving moderately complex problems.
  • Maintain standard finance reports and hierarchies, and support reconciliations between source systems and reporting tools.
  • Support internal controls and compliance activities by following established procedures and identifying potential data or process issues.
  • Analyze finance workflows and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and data quality.
  • Participate in system enhancement initiatives by supporting requirements documentation, testing, and implementation activities.
  • Collaborate with Finance, IT, and QA partners to support system stability, enhancements, and ongoing operations

The expertise you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Information Systems; or comparable, related work experience required.
  • 3-5 years of experience.
  • General understanding of accounting principles; insurance accounting preferred.
  • Experience with ERPs and reporting tools preferred.

Our salary ranges are determined by many factors including location, role, experience and skillset of the candidate. The following ranges displayed reflect the target base salary for new hires, but your recruiter will share more specific compensation information with you during the hiring process. The typical base salary range for this position is: $74,000 – $104,000, based on the factors aforementioned. For candidates located in San Francisco, CA; Washington, DC; our Massachusetts based offices and the New York City metro area, the base salary range is $93,000 - $108,000. In addition to base salary, full time Intact employees are also eligible for bonus potential and a full range of benefits to include but not limited to:
