Actuarial Managing Consultant - Core Responsibilities
  • Develop, lead, and deliver recruitment campaigns across actuarial, pricing, reserving and data science functions.
  • Operate as a trusted advisor to senior leaders across insurance, insurtech, MGAs, and consulting firms.
  • Build and manage strong, commercial relationships with Heads of Pricing, Chief Actuaries, Chief Risk Officers, and wider finance and analytics stakeholders.
  • Drive repeat business and open new accounts across North America.
  • Provide leadership and hands-on coaching to junior team members. Set standards on delivery, speed, and client control, and build a high-performance culture.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Proven business development track record with a network across carriers, MGAs, insurtechs, and actuarial consulting firms in the US.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills with a consultative and problem-solving approach.
  • Demonstrated success managing senior client relationships and controlling end-to-end recruitment cycles.
  • Leadership capability with the ability to coach, raise performance standards, and support the development of junior recruiters.
