They reach out to policyholders whose policies are up for renewal or at risk of cancellation, addressing concerns, answering questions, and offering solutions to keep their business. Their responsibilities often include explaining policy benefits, handling customer complaints, and sometimes negotiating discounts or policy adjustments. By maintaining strong client relationships, they help reduce customer churn and support the company’s long-term growth.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an insurance retention agent?

To thrive as an Insurance Retention Agent, you need strong knowledge of insurance products, policy terms, and customer account management, often supported by a high school diploma or relevant insurance certifications. Familiarity with CRM software, policy management systems, and call center platforms is typically required. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills help you build rapport and address client concerns effectively. These abilities are essential for maintaining customer satisfaction, reducing policy cancellations, and driving business growth.

What are some common challenges insurance retention agents face, and how can they overcome them?

Keller Williams GO Network - Regional General Manager of Growth

GO MANAGEMENT, LLC

Fort Worth, TX • On-site

$70K/yr

Full-time

Re-posted 12 days ago

Job description

Build Leaders. Recruit Top Talent. Grow Markets. Who We Are

GO Network is a growing network of Keller Williams real estate brokerages with one goal: shaping the future of real estate, keeping agents at the center of the transaction, and creating a place where businesses can grow exponentially.

Our platform supports thousands of real estate professionals and more than 23,500 annual transactions, with opportunities extending beyond traditional brokerage into mortgage, title, insurance, lead generation, strategic partnerships, and other real estate services.

We’re built for growth at scale — and we’re looking for a proven leader who can attract talent, develop leaders, build winning cultures, and turn strategy into measurable results.

The Opportunity

GO Network is seeking a Regional General Manager of Growth to lead agent recruiting, retention, leadership development, and marketplace expansion across a network of Market Centers.

This is a player-coach role, not a traditional corporate management position.

You’ll personally recruit and build relationships with high-performing agents and teams while coaching and developing the Growth Leaders responsible for recruiting and agent development within each Market Center.

You’ll own the growth strategy for your marketplace — identifying opportunities, developing the people needed to capture them, and creating the accountability necessary to deliver results.

What You’ll OwnRecruiting & Retention
  • Drive gross recruiting, net agent growth, and retention across your marketplace.
  • Personally recruit and build relationships with high-producing agents and teams.
  • Build and maintain a strong recruiting pipeline.
  • Identify retention risks and strengthen relationships with key agents.
  • Develop recruiting and retention strategies based on marketplace opportunities and agent needs.
Leadership Development
  • Coach, develop, and hold accountable the Vice Presidents of Growth and Development within each Market Center.
  • Establish clear expectations, performance standards, and growth goals.
  • Develop Growth Leaders into strong recruiters, coaches, and business leaders.
  • Identify leadership gaps, build a strong talent bench, and address performance when expectations aren’t being met.
Marketplace Growth & Expansion
  • Own and execute the growth strategy for your marketplace.
  • Identify opportunities to expand GO Network into new territories.
  • Build relationships with independent brokerages, teams, and real estate leaders.
  • Identify competitive trends and help determine where GO Network should grow next.
Business Performance
  • Establish clear growth goals and measure performance against them.
  • Use recruiting, retention, agent count, productivity, and profitability data to drive decisions.
  • Understand how agent growth impacts brokerage profitability and the broader GO Network platform.
  • Turn growth strategies into measurable plans, actions, and results.
How Success Will Be Measured

Success in this role is measured by results, including:

  • Gross agent recruits and net agent growth
  • Agent retention
  • Recruiting pipeline strength
  • Growth Leader performance and development
  • Market Center growth and profitability
  • Marketplace expansion opportunities
Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a proven growth leader who combines high drive with high relational intelligence.

You know how to recruit talented people, but you’re equally passionate about developing leaders who can recruit and lead others. You’re confident enough to set a high standard, relational enough to build trust, and decisive enough to address performance when needed.

You see opportunities, create a plan, bring people with you, and execute.

You’ll Thrive in This Role If You Are…
  • A proven recruiter who enjoys competing for and winning talent.
  • A strong relationship builder who connects well with high-performing real estate professionals.
  • A coach who knows how to develop strong leaders.
  • Competitive, driven, and energized by measurable results.
  • Comfortable setting expectations and having direct accountability conversations.
  • Strategic enough to see where the business should go next and operational enough to make it happen.
  • Financially savvy and able to connect growth decisions to profitability.
  • Comfortable leading across multiple offices, leaders, and markets.
  • Learning-based, growth-oriented, and open to coaching and feedback.

If you’re energized by building businesses, developing leaders, recruiting great people, and creating measurable growth, we want to meet you.
