Job description

We're looking for experienced Project Managers who take pride in quality workmanship, value teamwork, and want to be part of a company that's building more than structures-we're building lasting partnerships and stronger communities. Whether you're in the field or supporting operations, every role contributes to delivering excellence on every project.
Who We Are
Rally Construction Group (RCG) is the construction division at the heart of the Rally family of companies, which spans healthcare; humanitarian and defense; residential, custom, and commercial construction; and transportation services. Grounded in our faith-forward approach, we are committed to stewardship, operational excellence, and meaningful impact in the communities we serve.
We're not building an ordinary company - and we're not looking for ordinary leaders.
At our core, we believe great organizations are built by healthy, intentional, and high-character leaders. Culture isn't an afterthought here; it's our competitive advantage. We invest deeply in you because we know that when our people grow, the company grows.
What You'll Do:
  • Manage residential construction projects from contract award through final completion.
  • Lead owner, architect, and contractor (OAC) meetings while serving as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, identifying and resolving delays before they impact production.
  • Coordinate field operations with superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Review plans and specifications to ensure work complies with contract requirements, building codes, and quality standards.
  • Oversee project budgets, job costing, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Review subcontractor pay applications, process purchase orders and invoices, and monitor project profitability.
  • Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and project closeout activities.
  • Maintain accurate daily documentation, project files, warranties, and closeout documents.
  • Champion a strong safety culture by ensuring OSHA compliance, conducting safety meetings, and supporting incident prevention.
  • Build lasting relationships with clients through responsive communication, professional service, and successful project delivery. These responsibilities align with the hiring manager's project management expectations provided in the attached notes.

What You Need:
  • 5+ years of experience managing construction projects.
  • Experience in residential construction, shell construction, or related trades preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, job costing, and contract administration.
  • Experience managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of local building codes, OSHA safety standards, and construction best practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

Why RallyX?
RallyX was birthed out of a family business and operates a lot like a family today. We take care of our family.
  • Competitive Pay
  • Insurance-Health, Dental, Vision for FT employees
  • 401k plan with matching investment
  • Vacation and Paid Holidays

We value hard work and offer opportunities for you to improve in your area of expertise. We also value candor, creativity, and collaboration, so there is always opportunity for you to stretch your legs and create value for the team and yourself.
