Job description

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with expertise in large scale Multi-Family projects to join an expanding team.


Job Summary:

Lead teams to complete ground up commercial construction projects for various markets, the first project will be a large-scale multifamily construction project, so large-scale multifamily construction experience is required. Responsibilities include managing resources, schedules, financials, and adhering to quality and control guidelines throughout the project life cycle. This encompasses overseeing issues, risks, and project change requests to ensure successful and timely project delivery. Additionally, the Senior Project Manager must ensure that the project meets quality standards, time constraints, and budgetary considerations outlined in the business case.


Essential Functions:

  • Provide onsite leadership for project teams, motivating members to meet project goals and adhere to project milestones.
  • Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Oversee a portfolio of intricate initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business.
  • Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test, and deployment management activities.
  • Demonstrate creativity, analytical prowess, and teamwork in problem-solving scenarios.
  • Take ownership of the full project life cycle, from initiation to deployment, for major or simultaneous minor initiatives.
  • Prepare estimates and detailed project plans for all phases of the project.
  • Manage ongoing quality control and assist in quality issue resolution.
  • Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to enhance organizational project management capabilities.
  • Showcase functional expertise to support how solutions will address client goals while aligning with industry best practices.
  • Participate in feasibility studies, vendor selections, and proposals for evaluation.
  • Support formal/informal schedules to manage engagement contracts.
  • Identify and cultivate trusted advisor relationships with project and program stakeholders.
  • Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues.
  • Pursue professional development to stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices.


Requirement & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience collaborating with business stakeholders in a cross-functional matrix environment.
  • Experience negotiating vendor contracts and drafting budget proposals.
  • Experience leading projects to on-time, on-schedule, and within-budget close.
  • Strong experience presenting to executive sponsors and communicating with technical and non-technical staff.
  • OSHA 10 certification required.
  • Large-scale multifamily construction project management experience.


Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in construction management, civil engineering, or similar.
