Project Manager – Structural & Miscellaneous Steel

Salary: $100,000 – $120,000

Location: Palm City, FL (Onsite)

Employment Type: Full-Time | Permanent

A well-established AISC-certified structural steel fabricator and erector is seeking a Project Manager to oversee structural and miscellaneous steel projects across commercial, institutional, and residential sectors. This role will manage projects from award through completion, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met.

Role Overview

The Project Manager will oversee structural and miscellaneous steel packages up to $2M in value, coordinating detailing, fabrication, and installation. The role reports to the Vice President and works closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and general contractors to deliver projects successfully.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage structural and miscellaneous steel projects from kickoff through completion
  • Coordinate detailing, fabrication schedules, and field installation
  • Serve as the main point of contact for general contractors and project stakeholders
  • Lead project meetings and manage RFIs, change orders, and project documentation
  • Track budgets, schedules, and subcontractor scopes
  • Coordinate closely with fabrication teams and field crews to ensure smooth execution

Candidate Requirements

Essential

  • Minimum 5 years of structural steel project management experience
  • Strong knowledge of steel fabrication and erection processes

Preferred

  • Tekla experience
  • Experience with AISC-certified fabricators
  • Background managing structural and miscellaneous metals
