Job Summary:

Trane in Jacksonville, FL is hiring an Associate Project Manager for Energy Services! The Associate Project Manager is responsible for project financials, administration, implementation, management, and customer satisfaction for all assigned projects. They lead the project team through all facets of the project and is the established point of contact for stakeholders. The Associate Project Manager manages a portfolio of projects that could contain both smaller and larger multi- building or complex construction projects. The Associate Project Manager is knowledgeable on current job market and pricing strategies and has the ability to support sales functions with developing scope.

What you will do:

  • Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and developing communication plans with both internal and external stakeholders to provide timely project updates

  • Ensure and enforce Trane safety protocols on all sites.

  • Support the Energy Services Project Manager by ensuring project standards align with both company and customer expectations.

  • Manage on-site teams and subcontractors, overseeing logistics, work activities, and customer interactions.

  • Provide regular updates to the project manager and handle daily project operations.

  • Ensure quality standards are maintained, identify any issues, implement corrective actions, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to resolve concerns.

  • Create and maintain project schedules utilizing tasks, dependencies, milestones

What you will bring:

  • Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role within the commercial construction industry, with significant experience in large-scale HVAC projects.

  • Familiarity with HVAC systems at 80+ ton unit scale, specifically chilled water and centrifugal systems.

  • Previous experience managing subcontractors, materials, and project sites.

  • 3-5 years' experience with Project Schedules / Procore.

  • Proficient in reading construction plans and specifications.

  • Knowledgeable in project schedules, budgeting, and safety procedures.

  • Strong command of MS Office Suite and Outlook.

  • Prior experience resolving collections and customer financial issues during project execution.

  • High school diploma required.

  • OSHA 30 (preferred; Trane will facilitate if needed).

  • Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to: DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.
