Zayo is seeking a Senior Program Manager - Strategic Implementation to primarily be responsible for providing strategy, direction, and oversight for data validation, analysis and program management across North America, with specific focus is to provide leadership by leveraging productivity tools for portfolio, program and project management demand, capacity, resource allocation, tracking, and performance reporting. Our strategic Senior Program Manager - Strategic Implementation will drive structured, consistent, and disciplined operational practices to ensure stable product delivery aligned with company initiatives and expectations. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Leads the identification, development, and implementation of process improvements for program management processes and tools in line with current TCCC operations

  • Collaborates with other Program Managers on common processes and tools

  • Manages complex or broad variety/scope of programs/projects for completeness, compatibility, compliance with engineering principles and design needs and standards

  • Stewards programs and projects with Sponsors and Stakeholders through the program lifecycle

  • Builds and leads a Program Management function/capability, including implementation of a system or tool to facilitate management of multiple projects of varied sizes

  • Partners with leadership to guide prioritization of projects and utilization of resources, while regularly delivering progress reports

  • Assists in the development of performance metrics, dashboards and management tools that clearly articulate the status of key activities ensuring timely and successful execution

  • Delivers highly effective Program Management which is responsible for planning, scheduling and controlling the activities of complex business projects spanning multiple organizations

  • Assesses all Program Management projects and assigns appropriate resources

  • Works closely with the Network Operations SLT to facilitate the elaboration, approval and execution of the global program strategy, facilitate decision-making process for their program(s)

  • Provides direction for the development of policies, analytical tools and for the identification of inventory trends and opportunities

What We're Looking For:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, safety, or related technical discipline and/or equivalent work experience

  • Extensive people leadership experience; the individual will manage an organization of up to 5 team members

  • Minimum of five (5) years of program management experience

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of telecommunications, engineering, or regulated industry-related experience, preferred

  • Ability to think critically and follow a decision-making process, the anticipation of risky business situations with deliberate and swift response to the same

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills to interface with subordinates, peers, customers, and vendors  

  • Ability for some travel and access/availability to serve the needs of the business on a 24/7 basis


Estimated Base Salary Range: $95,800 - $146,300 USD/annually

The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Non- sales roles may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive plan. Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan.

Additionally, this position may be eligible for certain benefits, such as health insurance, life insurance, disability retirement plans, paid time off.

The posting will be active for a minimum of 3 days. The active posting will continue to extend by 3 days until the position is filled.
