Job Summary

The Senior Product Manager is responsible for leading the development and execution of comprehensive product and marketing strategies for our continuous and environmental monitoring product portfolio. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive positioning. Drive product launches, optimize go-to-market strategies, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment across the organization.

Duties/ResponsibilitiesMarketing Strategy Development
  • Create and implement integrated strategic and marketing plans that align with overall business objectives.
  • Bring commercial thought leadership for the product line to position for growth and expansion.
  • Utilize a mix of marketing channels (digital, content, social media, events) to reach target audiences effectively.
Strategic Market Analysis
  • Conduct in-depth market research in the continuous/environmental monitoring space to identify trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape.
  • Define and articulate product positioning and value propositions based on market findings from regulated end-users (pharma, biotech, healthcare).
Product Development and Launch Leadership
  • Define and manage product definition, scope, acceptance criteria, backlog prioritization in collaboration with internal and external development teams.
  • Serve as the primary commercial-to-development bridge translating customer needs to user and product requirements
  • Partner with engineering and QA to coordinate milestone gates, ensuring launch readiness aligns with V&V compliance and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.
  • Lead the planning and execution of product launches, coordinating with engineering, quality, operations sales, and marketing teams.
  • Develop launch strategies that maximize market impact and drive customer adoption.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with product development, sales, and customer success teams to ensure cohesive messaging and product alignment.
  • Act as the primary liaison between marketing and other departments, facilitating communication and project alignment.
  • Work closely with finance and operations leading revenue and demand forecasting.
Team Leadership and Development
  • Mentor and guide junior marketing team members, fostering professional development and knowledge sharing.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in executing marketing initiatives and projects.
Experience / Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product marketing, with a proven track record of successful product launches and strategic marketing initiatives.

Preferred MBA with prior experience in industrial B2B for connectivity devices

Knowledge & Skillsets Required
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and market research.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools and CRM platforms.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and a results-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency in development tools such as JIRA, Confluence.
  • Familiarity with IoT architecture, cloud platforms and SaaS deployment models.
  • Experience with environmental or continuous monitoring systems, sensor hardware, or data acquisition platforms a plus
