The chosen candidate will manage the procurement of industrial materials and services to meet ArcelorMittal Calvert's business goals and ensure raw material supply for the EAF production plan.
The Basics:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Procurement role
  • Strong working knowledge of large Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
  • Solid analytical Skills.
  • Intermediate to proficient skills in the following:
      • Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
      • Market and industry research/analysis techniques
      • Strategic sourcing best practices
      • Understanding of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
      • Project Management

The Extras:
  • Steel industry experience preferred
  • SAP, SAP SRM, ARIBA knowledge preferred
  • Intermediate understanding of and ability to read legal contracts
