Pathwise is an independent agency built on integrity, community service, and long-term relationships. Our principal, Kevin Lisitsin, is a former Farmers Insurance President's Council agent who built a $5.5M book from zero before going independent to give clients more options. We give back through Diligent Heart, a nonprofit serving foster youth in Fresno, and we are deeply rooted in the Central Valley community we serve.

Job Overview:


Pathwise Insurance Agency is a Fresno-based independent insurance agency serving the Central Valley with access to 30+ carriers. We are looking for a motivated, community-minded Insurance Sales Producer to join our growing team.


You will work directly with clients across the Central Valley helping them find the right coverage, building long-term relationships, and making a real difference in the lives of the families and businesses we serve. This is more than a job. You will have the opportunity to invest in the book of business you build and earn residual income on the accounts you write so the work you put in today keeps paying you for years to come.


This role is available as a W2 Employee with a base salary or as a 1099 Independent Contractor, depending on your experience and preference. Details discussed at the interview.

Responsibilities
  • Engage with potential clients to understand their insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options
  • Develop and present customized insurance proposals and quotes across multiple carriers
  • Service existing client accounts ensuring satisfaction and identifying opportunities for additional coverage
  • Build and maintain referral partner relationships with lenders, realtors, and community contacts
  • Document all client interactions, policy changes, and communications in HawkSoft AMS
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve agency goals and contribute to a positive, community-focused work environment
  • Stay current on carrier appetite, product changes, and industry trends

Requirements
  • Active California Property & Casualty License required to start
  • Prior sales, customer service, or insurance experience is a plus but not required
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills phone, email, and in person
  • Comfortable working in a CRM and agency management system (training provided)
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude
  • Commitment to serving clients with honesty and integrity
  • Must be willing to dedicate a minimum of 30% of working time to building referral partner relationships
