Job description

Position: Operations Associate

Location: Tampa, FL 33619

Industry: Elections office

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm with the availability to work earlier, later and weekends during busy elections season

Pay Rate: $18/hr.

Operations Associate Responsibilities:

  • Complete assigned tasks with other employees or alone with little or no supervision
  • Pack and prepare supplies needed for Election Day and Early Voting
  • Perform diagnostics, testing, and configuration of voting equipment used in elections
  • Verify capital assets and consumable inventory items
  • Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately
  • Keep a clean and organized working environment
  • Assist and support other departments as needed
  • Other duties as required


What will you need in this Operations Associate position?

  • Knowledge of general office practices and procedures
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office products with a proficiency in Word and Excel
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with other employees
  • Well versed in the use of various technology tools
  • Ability to:
    • Perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time
