General Office Clerk
Starting rate of pay: $16.50/hr

As a General Office Clerk, you are responsible for performing the document preparation and scanning tasks of our accounting records and documents. You are also responsible for maintaining and processing physical assets to be stored in electronic format. Also receives incoming mail from postal office and third party courier service, preparing for daily service pickups; daily pickups and deliveries of company mail; daily deliveries to different departments.
• Maintains supply of required forms, and packaging material, e.g., domestic priority mail, global priority mail, domestic express mail, international express mail, customs declaration forms, certified mail, registered mail.
• You will prepare, index and scan all hard copy records according to company standards.
• You will upload all documents scanned to the designated storage area.
• You will perform quality checks on all documents scanned, detect image errors and determine the cause of the errors.
• You will conduct manual data entry of required fields for validation and verification.
• You will process any additional documents
• You will perform any other tasks and projects assigned by your Supervisor.
• Coordinates the sorting, routing and/or forwarding of incoming company business mail for departments/individuals among several buildings. Inspects, analyzes, and redirects "generic" mail (not addressed to person or specific office) to appropriate parties.
• Coordinates the sorting, delivering, routing, redirecting, and forwarding of mail that delivered to us.
• Maintains accountability process to preserve security of "restricted delivery" and "special handling" items requiring signatures and releases by recipients.
• Reports issues to supervisor.
Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
