Job description

Jones Family of Dealerships is seeking a driven and experienced Automotive Finance Manager to join our dealership team. This position plays a critical role in delivering a seamless, transparent, and customer-focused finance experience while supporting dealership sales performance.

As an Automotive Finance Manager, you will oversee all aspects of vehicle financing and insurance (F&I), working closely with customers, sales professionals, and lending partners to structure competitive deals. Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the sales team to identify and present financing and leasing options tailored to customer needs
  • Clearly explain financing, warranty, and protection products to customers
  • Secure approvals through a network of lenders and negotiate favorable terms
  • Prepare, process, and submit accurate deal documentation in compliance with all applicable regulations
  • Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local laws governing automotive finance and insurance
  • Maintain strong relationships with lenders and financial institutions
  • Monitor deal structure, profitability, and penetration rates to support dealership goals
  • Maintain accurate and compliant records of all transactions
  • Assist in training and coaching sales staff on F&I processes and best practices
  • Address customer questions or concerns professionally and promptly
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure a smooth and efficient sales process
  • Adhere to all dealership policies and applicable laws including Truth in Lending (TILA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), and other regulatory requirements

Qualifications

  • 1โ€“3+ years of automotive finance experience in a dealership environment preferred
  • Strong knowledge of automotive financing, lender programs, and F&I products
  • Proven ability to structure and close deals successfully
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Professional demeanor with strong organizational and customer service abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and dealership management software preferred
