Purpose of Your Work:

As a Legal Assistant working within Shared Services, you will support Redwoods Legal Team with various organizational and administrative tasks as well as assist with initial reviews of various commercial contracts for both customers and vendors. You will conduct initial analysis and interpretation of agreements to assess risks and report findings to colleagues.

How You Make a Difference Everyday:

  • Handle electronic signature processes, maintain visibility on where documents are at in the signature process, and circulate such fully executed documents to the appropriate parties;
  • Contract review for Redwood business units, including various commercial agreements such as nondisclosure agreements, brokerage agreements, codes of conduct, marketing documents, vendor agreements, and other contracts and documents related to the organization as a whole;
  • Identify potential risks associated with contracts under review;
  • Assist with utilization of the organizations new contract life-cycle management software (CLM);
  • Focus on the continual improvement in the quality, and simplicity of the contract management processes, without compromising compliance and quality;
  • Other legal projects as assigned.

Youve Got This?

  • Bachelors Degree required with a preferred focus on business administration, law, or finance;
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience supporting the legal function in a mid to large size organization or law firm;
  • Preferred 3 to 4 years at a law firm, in-house, or business experience;
  • Strong organization, communication, analysis, and problem-solving skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize completing assignments in a dynamic, fast-paced environment in accordance with business unit deadlines and goals;
  • Preferred experience with using a CLM or implementation and integration of CLM;
  • Preferred CPCM or CCM certifications;
  • Preferred experience or interest in data security and data privacy issues including CIPP or AIGP certifications.

Work Schedule:

This position is full-time and remote Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with an hour break, but flexibility is available based on coverage.

Salary Range:

$50,000 - $60,000

This position is eligible to earn annual incentives based on individual and company performance.

The estimated pay range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the geographical location in which the applicant lives and/or which they will be performing the job.
