Job description

Help shape how Barnhart trains, develops, and equips teams to safely execute some of the industry's most challenging projects.

Position Summary: The Training & Implementation Manager leads Barnhart's training and implementation efforts, helping teams across the organization operate safely, efficiently, and consistently. This role oversees the development and delivery of training programs, supports the implementation of new tools and processes, and contribute to strategic initiatives that improve operational performance and efficiency across the branch network.

Location: Memphis, TN. Candidates must live locally or be willing to relocate. Some travel to branch locations may be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Training & Implementation team, including trainers, administrators, and interns.
  • Oversee the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of technical and operational training programs.
  • Partner with branch leadership to identify training needs and support employee development.
  • Support the successful implementation and adoption of new tools, technologies, and operational processes.
  •  Measure training effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage departmental resources, equipment, and budget responsibly.
  • Promote a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and servant leadership.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent industry experience may be considered.
  • 5+ years of experience in the crane and rigging, heavy transport, construction, industrial services, or related industry.
  • Proven leadership, training, coaching, or implementation experience.
  •  Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to analyze operational performance and drive process improvements.
  • Working knowledge of business software and Microsoft Office applications.
