Job description

The Opportunity: 

ACA is currently looking for a Project Management Specialist to manage projects related to the implementation and configuration of ACA's ComplianceAlpha product.  This role is a part of the Professional Services team, within our Tech Services division, and oversees system implementations,  integrations, and upgrades, and client specific customizations for new and existing clients. The ComplianceAlphaRegTech solutions platform integrates risk and compliance management activities, trade surveillance and monitoring, compliance program testing, and in-depth analytics to help risk and compliance officers simplify and streamline their compliance management responsibilities. ComplianceAlpha is trusted by over 1,200 financial services firms, globally, to help protect and grow their business. 

What you'll do: 

  • Function as a subject matter expert and a liaison between ACA clients and ACA product teams   
  • Define scope, manage, and lead project activities, milestones, deliverables, resource assignments, project estimates and budgets and change requests 
  • Identify and proactively drives high quality project deliverables, dependencies, and critical path items - proactively manages changes in project scope 
  • Controls project deliverables, scope & expectations, and coordinates project progress with sponsors, steering committees, and senior leadership 
  • Develops and tracks to detailed project plans including schedules, technical and business requirements, cost estimates, resource plans, communication plans, risk mitigation plans, and issue resolution plans 
  • Lead functional & process requirement workshops with customers to define business, process, functional and data requirements related to compliance 
  • Work directly with clients to onboard them on to the ACA software products and manage customer feedback 
  • Communicate and manage internal and external implementation requirements and expectations 
  • Evaluate process and procedures for inefficiencies, and make recommendations for improvement, and drive them through with stakeholders Perform ad-hoc work/special projects as necessary to support ACA on various client and internal initiatives 

To qualify for the role, you must have: 

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in SaaS software implementations, project life cycles and software implementation methodologies.   
  • Experience with Project Manager Office operations (Methodologies creation, project governance, process controls, etc.) 
  • Bachelor's Degree (BS/BA) degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Accounting & Finance  

Ideally, you'll also have: 

  • MBA with a specialization in Project Management 
  • Experience working for companies in FinTech, financial services or investment technology
