Job description

SGA Dental Partners is hiring for a Senior Financial Analyst. This role will perform a variety of financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, building financial models, assisting with financial planning, performing research and analysis, preparing reports, and assisting with close processes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Reviewing and analyzing financial statements and reports.
  • Tracking KPIs and preparing financial reports.
  • Assisting with budgeting and monthly close processes.
  • Understanding key business drivers.
  • Assisting project teams with financial guidance.
  • Developing financial projections and building financial models.
  • Performing research and analysis as required.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal regulations.
  • Develop financial models through benchmarking and process analysis.
  • Forecast quarterly and annual profits.
  • Prepare cost projections.
  • Analyze and report on current financial status.
  • Conduct thorough research of historical financial data.
  • Explore investment options and present risk and opportunities.
  • Coordinate with the CFO and the executive team on long-term financial planning.
  • Compare anticipated and actual results and identify areas of improvement.
  • Participate in budgeting (for departments and projects).
  • Review accounting transactions for data accuracy.
  • Establish financial policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information and investment decisions.
  • Assumes and executes additional responsibilities as assigned.

Education/ Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, (CPA or CFA a plus)
  • 3+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling.
  • Experience with a wide range of GL systems including QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, NetSuite is highly preferred.

Pay range: $85,000 - $105,000 , depending on experience
