Position Overview
Cumulus Media | Columbia, SC seeks motivated sales professionals for our Multimedia Account Executive role who thrive in competitive environments. The Multimedia Account Executive successfully manages relationships with dozens of local and regional businesses, protects and grows the revenue base, identifies and creates new business opportunities with existing and new clients; provides marketing solutions to help customers achieve their business goals; strategically plans and implements initiatives to meet personal, company and corporate directives, recognizes that achieving budgeted revenue targets is the minimum expectation of performance. The right individual will invest in personal professional development, understanding technology, marketing and the full suite of company products and services.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospect, qualify, and secure new business through networking, cold calling, referrals and client meetings.
  • Conduct needs analysis, manage CRM pipeline, and ensure accurate forecasting
  • Sell advertising solutions across broadcast, digital, and events.
  • Drive digital revenue through Cumulus digital assets (including streaming, web, social marketing services).
  • Develop effective multi-platform, integrated sales presentations; ability to negotiate and close
  • Meet and exceed annual sales quotas through proactive engagement.
  • Deliver compelling presentations demonstrating multimedia solutions for client goals.
  • Apply consultative selling techniques to meet client objectives and maximize cross-channel opportunities.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years successful outside sales experience required, Media Sales preferred
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • Proven success in media sales (broadcast and digital).
  • Strong knowledge of digital advertising, including programmatic, social, and mobile.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Pay Range
USD $3,000.00 - USD $5,000.00 /Mo.

The monthly pay range listed above reflects your guaranteed income during your first year, with additional opportunities to earn commissions
