LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a nonprofit client in the Oklahoma City, OK area to fill an Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Programs. This is a fulltime role, onsite. Normal business hours.
Our client is one of Oklahoma City's largest philanthropic organizations, dedicated to strengthening communities through strategic investments, partnerships, and initiatives that improve quality of life across Oklahoma.
Position Summary
The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative and operational support to the Vice President of Programs. This role manages calendars, meetings, communications, travel, and special projects while serving as a key liaison with community partners, board members, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage complex calendars, scheduling, travel, and executive correspondence.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and materials, and track follow-up actions.
  • Support program initiatives, grantmaking activities, and departmental projects.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and other executive documents.
  • Serve as a professional point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate event logistics, board and committee meetings, and community engagements.
  • Maintain confidential records and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of executive assistant or senior administrative support experience.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project coordination skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Nonprofit, foundation, philanthropy, or community organization experience preferred.
