Job Overview:
FOCUSPOINT is seeking experienced Data Analysts for our clients.

You'll play a vital role in transforming real-time data into actionable insights. These positions are ideal for professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy partnering across departments to solve complex problems. You'll work directly with stakeholders, engineers, operators, and senior leaders to uncover trends, identify anomalies, and deliver insights that drive smarter business decisions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with multiple business units to understand data-related needs and deliver timely, high-value analytical support.
  • Monitor system performance and live data streams to uncover trends, outliers, and patterns using statistical methods and visualization tools.
  • Detect anomalies and flag potential operational risks based on historical benchmarks and real-time signals.
  • Respond to system alerts and support incident triage, escalation, and resolution in coordination with engineering and operations teams.
  • Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings clearly across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Create concise reports, dashboards and visualizatdions to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and platform teams to improve data accessibility, accuracy, and reliability.
  • Help define and operationalize alerts, thresholds, and KPIs used for proactive decision-making.
  • Identify workflow bottlenecks and recommend automation or process enhancements to boost efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including incident logs, SOPs, and analytics playbooks for operational continuity and audit readiness.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Advanced Education (Preferred): Master’s degree or certifications in data analytics or business intelligence tools.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in SQL and data manipulation tools such as Excel, Python, or R.
  • BI Tools Experience: Skilled in using Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms.
  • Data Methods: Familiarity with anomaly detection and trend analysis techniques.
  • Communication: Able to develop and deliver presentations and engage positively across all levels of the organization.
  • Organizational Abilities: Capable of prioritizing multiple tasks in a fast-paced, centralized environment.
  • Experience: 2 to 4 years in a data analyst or business intelligence role.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working with teams across business functions.
