Job description

Overall Purpose: Strategically analyze data from diverse sources using advanced predictive modeling, statistics, and trend analysis, thereby driving informed decision-making and optimizing business performance.

The Lead Advanced Analytics role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced analytics and reporting and data solutions that support Compensation. This individual will play a critical role in building scalable data and automation solutions, ensuring data accuracy, and delivering actionable insights to business stakeholders.

This role supports the end-to-end Quota Tool process on the Consumer Technology Team for Sales Compensation, Automation & Analytics. Having a strong background in Agile development is a must in continuing to create a culture of being fast, accountable and results oriented. Having vast knowledge in our applications that serve as our Commission, Hierarchy, Billers, and Point of sale systems will be a value add for our processes and tools.
Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Champions end-to-end Quota process from capturing the business need, coding, testing, and pushing to production, as well as coordinating WebTool and Goal Loading impacts
  • Responsible for analyzing data in response to new business requests, performing maintenance and changes on interfaces, and identifying and resolving data discrepancies across multiple business applications
  • Works directly with the client user community and business analysts to define and document data requirements for data integration and business intelligence applications
  • Determines and documents data mapping rules for movement of medium to high complexity data between applications
  • Extracts and analyzes data from specific applications, systems and/or databases to create reports and provide recommendations based on the analysis of the data
  • Investigates and resolves data issues across platforms and applications, including discrepancies of definition, format and function
  • Works closely with DBAs to transition logical models to physical implementation
  • Deep technical knowledge and subject matter expert on ATT technologies.


Key Technical Requirements:
Proficient in SQL Server:

  • SQL Server Stored Procedures
  • SQL Server (SSIS)
  • SQL Server (SSAS)
  • SQL Server Administration experience

Proficient in other Database Environments:

  • Oracle
  • Snowflake
  • Trino / MongoDB

Data Analytics

  • PowerBI
  • Tabular SSAS (DAX)

Other Tech Requirements

  • Strong ETL Skillset with large volumes of data using SSIS.
  • Experience using relational databases (Ex- SQL Server, Oracle) and/or Data Warehouse data storage (Ex- Snowflake or Databricks Delta Lake).
  • Experience utilizing big data analytics tools (Ex- Tableau, Power BI AI Insights, Databricks) for modeling and process integration, and to make recommendations for improvements to processes, financials, business models, etc

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) desired from an accredited University in a Quantitative field of study such as Data Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering or Physics. 5+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.
