This remote role often requires proficiency in data analysis tools like SQL, Python, or R, and a strong understanding of insurance industry concepts. Remote insurance data analysts collaborate with teams virtually to provide insights and support business strategies, making it a flexible career option.

By transforming complex data into actionable insights, the team delivers differentiated products that create measurable value for customers and strengthen Brightree's market leadership.

Let's talk about the Role

The Senior Manager, Data Analytics leads a team of analysts and analytics engineers responsible for defining, delivering, and evolving Brightree's analytics product portfolio. This leader serves as the bridge between customers, product managers, engineering teams, data platform teams, and business stakeholders to ensure analytics capabilities address real-world customer needs.

  • Translate customer needs into scalable analytics solutions and roadmap priorities.

  • Evaluate market trends, customer challenges, and competitive offerings to identify opportunities for differentiation.

  • Develop deep understanding of provider workflows, reimbursement models, operational metrics, and customer business challenges.

  • Engage directly with product management and customers to understand reporting, benchmarking, and decision-support needs.

  • Translate complex healthcare and operational requirements into product requirements and analytics capabilities.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and grow a high-performing team of analysts and analytics engineers.

  • Establish standards for analytics product design, metric definitions, and insight generation.

  • Coach team members in analytical thinking, customer engagement, and product development practices.

Cross-Functional Execution

  • Partner with Product Managers and Engineering teams to define requirements and deliver analytics capabilities.

  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure required data assets and metrics are available and scalable.

  • Drive adoption and usage of analytics products through customer feedback and continuous improvement.

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, business, healthcare, or technical discipline.

  • 8+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, healthcare data, or data products.

  • 3+ years of people leadership experience.

  • Strong understanding of product development lifecycle and agile methodologies.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences.

Preferred

  • Experience delivering customer-facing analytics, reporting products, insights products, or data-driven SaaS capabilities.

  • Healthcare software or healthcare analytics experience.

  • Experience with benchmarking products, operational intelligence platforms, or decision-support solutions.

  • Familiarity with healthcare claims, revenue cycle, HME, pharmacy, or post-acute care markets.

  • Experience monetizing analytics or data products.

We work hard to offer holistic benefits packages, provide flexible work arrangements, cultivate a workforce culture that allows employees to grow personally and professionally, and deliver competitive salaries to our team members. Employees scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for benefits. This position qualifies for the following benefits package: comprehensive medical, vision, dental, and life, AD&D, short-term and long-term disability insurance, sleep care management, Health Savings Account (HSA), Flexible Spending Account (FSA), commuter benefits, 401(k), Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and tuition assistance. Employees accrue fifteen days Paid Time Off (PTO) in their first year of employment, receive 11 paid holidays plus 3 floating days and are eligible for 14 weeks of primary caregiver or two weeks of secondary caregiver leave when welcoming new family members.

Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate's geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.

At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current base range for this position is: $170,000 - $212,000.

For remote positions located outside of the US, pay will be determined based the candidate's geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.
