Job description

Direct Counsel is seeking a Capital Markets Associate Attorney to join a leading national law firm. This firm’s internationally recognized corporate practice is looking for an attorney with 3–6 years of capital markets and public securities experience to support its growing team. This role may be based in New York, Washington, D.C., or Boston.About the Role

The ideal candidate will have experience:

  • Representing companies and underwriters in public securities offerings, including IPOs and other equity or equity-linked transactions, particularly within the technology, consumer/retail, and life sciences sectors.

  • Advising public companies on corporate governance, SEC and exchange reporting, and ongoing compliance matters.

  • Managing client relationships and handling day-to-day workflow for sophisticated clients with complex transactional needs.

Candidates should have prior experience in the capital markets practice of a national or international law firm and strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Expected annual salary: $260,000–$390,000
    (Final offer will vary based on location, experience, and skillset.)
