This full-time position operates within a remote community health clinic model. Counselors will work with clients primarily through telehealth sessions, which provides flexibility in scheduling to meet clients' needs while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. • Conduct thorough initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to formulate effective treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of each client.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, adapting techniques for individuals, couples, families, and group settings.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, ensuring individualized approaches for each client.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure holistic treatment and care continuity.
• Maintain precise and comprehensive clinical records, adhering to ethical standards and legal regulations, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
• Stay updated on current research, trends, and advancements in the field of mental health through continuous professional development opportunities.

This role will focus on a diverse patient population, including individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and relationship issues. Our clients come from various backgrounds and age groups, requiring counselors to be culturally sensitive and adaptable in their treatment approaches. • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience providing counseling services, preferably within a clinical or outpatient setting.
• Demonstrated specialization in areas such as trauma, substance abuse, family therapy, or couples counseling is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and state regulations pertaining to counseling practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and relevant paperwork associated with clinical practice.

• Experience conducting telehealth counseling sessions is a plus, as it aligns with our remote work model.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities relevant to our patient population.
• Previous experience collaborating in multidisciplinary teams or working in community health settings.
