Overview

Physicians Mutual is hiring a Licensing Compliance Specialist to join our Licensing & Commissions Department. This role is essential in supporting our distribution channels by ensuring agents meet all licensing and compliance requirements while maintaining accurate records and providing strong administrative support.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate licensing, contracting, and termination processes for agents across multiple distribution channels.
  • Maintain and manage multiple systems for licensing, appointments, and continuing education (CE) tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with all State and Federal insurance regulations.
  • Develop and update training materials and process manuals to support licensing and compliance functions.
  • Provide administrative support, troubleshoot technical issues, and assist field personnel with licensing questions.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in Business Administration is a plus.
  • 2+ years of administrative experience, ideally with exposure to compliance, licensing, or related processes.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, with strong database management and online research skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, organize information effectively, and work independently under strict deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with agents, internal teams, and external partners.
