  • Salary increases tied to prior year performance and growth.
  • Typical total compensation may grow into the $55,000–$60,000+ range as production develops.
  • Full-time, in-person position in Columbia, MD

  • Track activity and pipeline progress through CRM systems.
   Insurance Production
  • Develop new business across Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, Life Insurance, Disability Income, and Long-Term Care.
  • Emphasis on Life Insurance and protection planning conversations.
  •  Participate in proposal preparation, quoting, and client presentations.
   Client Support & Advisory Development
  • Assist with discovery meetings and annual reviews.
  •  Help prepare coverage summaries and recommendations.
  • Participate in client meetings and gradually take on greater responsibility as skills develop.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
  • Early-career professional interested in insurance services.
  • Active Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses.
  • Motivated by activity goals, sales development, and measurable growth.
  • Coachable, organized, and comfortable working in a structured office environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and organized.
  • Team-oriented, flexible, and dependable
  • Always willing to go above and beyond for both clients and their teammates
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and client service skills.
  • A positive and professional attitude
  • Multi-tasking ability

Professional Growth & Licensing
  • Maintain active Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses.
  •  Participate in ongoing mentorship, coaching, and professional development.
  • Develop consultative sales skills aligned with Athlon’s planning philosophy.
