Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, licensed insurance agent to join our team on a part-time basis. This position involves working with both commercial and personal lines and/or Life & Health clients, providing exceptional service, and supporting agency growth through relationship building and policy management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with quoting, policy reviews, renewals, and coverage recommendations for both personal and commercial insurance.
  • Identify client needs and present appropriate insurance solutions that align with their goals.
  • Service existing accounts by processing endorsements, handling policy changes, and resolving client inquiries promptly.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships through professional and friendly communication.
  • Collaborate with agency team members to ensure smooth onboarding and servicing of accounts.
  • Maintain accurate records in the agency management system and follow regulatory compliance procedures.
  • Stay current on insurance products, market trends, and underwriting guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Active Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health Insurance License for the state of Indiana and/or Kentucky.
  • Minimum of 1+ years of insurance agency or carrier experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of both personal lines (home, auto, umbrella, etc.) and commercial lines (small business packages, liability, workers’ comp, etc.) and/or life and health insurance.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Comfortable using modern agency software and digital tools.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
