Business Analyst IV (Guidewire ClaimCenter)
Location: Madison, WI (Hybrid Preferred) or Remote (U.S.)
Type: Contract
Duration: 6 Months (Potential Extensions)


Project Overview
We are seeking a Business Analyst with Guidewire ClaimCenter experience to support insurance-related initiatives focused on claims operations and business process improvement. This individual will partner with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical resources to gather requirements, document processes, support testing efforts, and help drive successful project delivery.
This is an excellent opportunity for a BA who understands both the business and technology sides of insurance operations and enjoys working in a collaborative Agile environment.


Responsibilities
* Facilitate requirements gathering and stakeholder discovery sessions
* Document business requirements, process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria
* Act as a liaison between business and technology teams
* Support Agile project delivery and participate in backlog refinement activities
* Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams to track deliverables and resolve blockers
* Create and maintain process documentation and business workflows
* Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning and defect management
* Assist with issue triage and resolution alongside technical teams and third-party vendors
* Help drive project execution and ensure business objectives are met
Required Qualifications
* 5+ years of Business Analyst experience
* Proven experience working in Agile environments
* Experience gathering and documenting requirements from business stakeholders
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Experience creating user stories, requirements documentation, process maps, and workflow diagrams
* Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Experience supporting UAT, testing activities, and defect resolution
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working within the Property & Casualty Insurance industry
* Guidewire ClaimCenter experience
* Experience with insurance claims processes and operations
* Experience working with insurance forms, policies, underwriting, billing, or related insurance business functions
* Background working with external vendors and third-party technology partners
* Experience supporting end-to-end insurance application implementations or enhancements
* Familiarity with API integrations between insurance platforms
