Personal Lines Account Manager - Independent Insurance Agency - Base Salary to 60k/year - Franklin, TN

  • Our client, a growing independent insurance agency in the Franklin, TN area, is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager to support and service an established book of personal insurance accounts. This role will focus on day-to-day client servicing activities for personal lines policies including home, auto, umbrella, and related coverage lines.
  • This is an in-office position based in the Franklin, TN area.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily servicing activities for an assigned book of personal lines insurance accounts
  • Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, reinstatements, and coverage updates
  • Prepare quotes, proposals, certificates, ID cards, and related policy documentation
  • Review renewals and assist clients with policy coverage questions and account servicing needs
  • Work directly with insurance carriers regarding underwriting, billing, and policy servicing matters
  • Maintain accurate account documentation and client records within the agency management system
  • Support account rounding and cross-selling efforts when appropriate
  • Assist clients with home, auto, umbrella, and related personal insurance coverage needs
  • Provide service to policyholders via phone, email, and in-person communication

Qualifications:

  • Active Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance License
  • 2+ years of personal lines insurance account management or customer service experience within an independent insurance agency or insurance brokerage environment
  • Experience servicing personal lines insurance accounts including home and auto policies
  • Experience processing renewals, endorsements, policy changes, certificates, ID cards, and insurance documentation
  • Experience working directly with insurance carriers and policyholders
  • Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday in the Franklin, TN area
