We are looking for an Assistant Account Manager to join the Business Management & Family Office practice in our Advisory Department. As an Assistant Account Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Enter accounts payable & maintain A/P due date schedule.
  • Enter cash receipts & maintain commission/payment schedules.
  • Communication with vendors including resolving vendor issues and processing address changes.
  • Maintain electronic filing system & coordinate/organize administrative requirements (filing, scanning, shredding, etc.).
  • Post/download & analyze credit card activity for proper coding; work with Account Manager for client feedback as necessary.
  • Post investment activity and work with Account Manager for guidance, and escalate complicated or suspicious activity to Account Managers; ensure consistency with the overall investment activity process including the creation of brokerage schedules.
  • Coordinate and guide the administration team to ensure proper scanning /recording of documents & mail processing; check and verify source documents such as invoices, receipts, etc.
  • Book payroll from outside payroll provider records with guidance from Account Manager.
  • Prepare 1099's with guidance from Account Manager.
  • Prepare guild reporting for Account Manager review (DGA, SAG, WGA, etc.) assuming advance training occurs first with Account Manager.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Economics, etc.), or 1 -2 years of bookkeeping experience in business management
  • Prior knowledge of or experience with accounting principles and full-charge bookkeeping
  • Technical skills focused on quality
