Job description

We are an independent insurance agency seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused Insurance Agent to join our small team. This role involves generating new business quotes, making sales, providing excellent customer service, and assisting office staff. The agent will primarily focus on personal lines insurance, navigating various company websites, and using our agency management system to document and process workflow. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage, incentives, and benefits, with a typical Monday through Friday, 9-5 schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare new business quotes for personal lines insurance
  • Conduct sales activities to acquire and retain clients
  • Provide high-quality customer service and respond to client inquiries
  • Document and process workflow using the agency management system
  • Navigate multiple insurance company websites for quoting and processing
  • Assist other office staff as needed to ensure smooth operations
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members
  • Occasionally visit clients outside the office for consultations

Required Qualifications

  • Property & Casualty (P&C) license required pre-hire
