About the Role

As a Licensed Health Insurance Agent (Seasonal), you'll serve as a trusted point of contact for members during critical decision-making moments. You will guide them through their options, help them understand their coverage needs, and assist with enrolling in plans that best fit their situation. This role goes beyond sales. It is about being a reliable resource and delivering clear, timely support. 

You will manage a variety of inquiries across phone and digital channels, assisting members with tasks such as updating information, interpreting communications, and resolving concerns. Success in this role comes from staying detail-oriented and providing a calm, supportive experience in every interaction.

Responsibilities

What You'll Get to Do 

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls related to customer service and plan support

  • Help customers understand their coverage, benefits, and available options

  • Assist with plan updates, changes, and enrollment applications

  • Maintain accurate records and update customer information in internal systems

  • Follow all compliance guidelines, policies, and regulatory requirements 

Qualifications

What You Need 

Required 

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent)

  • Active Health Insurance License in your home state, or the ability to obtain and maintain one as required

  • Reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum 100 Mbps download / 20 Mbps upload via wired connection)  

  • 1+ year of experience in call center, customer service, sales, or a related role

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly

  • Ability to remain professional, patient, and solution-focused in a fast-paced environment

  • Comfortable using multiple systems and web-based tools, including Microsoft Office 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Previous experience in health insurance or a regulated industry
  • Experience with enrollment, benefits explanation, or consultative sales 
  •  Bilingual (English/Spanish)
