Massillon Mancan is assisting a local insurance agency in their search for an experienced Licensed Insurance Agent. **MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE*****
We are currently seeking a motivated and licensed Insurance Agent to join the team. This is a temporary position with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate. If you are driven, customer-focused, and ready to grow within an agency, we encourage you to apply!
Position Overview
The Licensed Insurance Agent will be responsible for assisting clients with their insurance needs, generating new business, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires an active Property & Casualty license. A Life & Health license is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
Sell and service Property & Casualty insurance policies
Identify client needs and recommend appropriate coverage options
Generate leads and develop new business opportunities
Process policy changes, renewals, and endorsements
Provide quotes and explain policy details clearly and accurately
Maintain accurate client records and documentation
Follow up with clients regarding renewals and coverage updates
Ensure compliance with state insurance regulations
Qualifications
Active Property & Casualty Insurance License (Required)
Life & Health License (Preferred but not required)
Previous insurance sales or customer service experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
Detail-oriented and organized
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
