What is the opportunity?
As a Senior Client Relationship Specialist, you will serve as a key point of contact for account management, focusing on post-sales activities, complex contractual and plan design inquiries, and the installation of new business through client strategy. You will play a critical role in driving client satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth within the region.

What will you do?

  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and deliver exceptional service to achieve regional sales targets while promoting group block retention and persistency rates.

  • Independently address client and advisor inquiries, determining appropriate actions for complex issues with minimal management involvement. Proactively recommend solutions to enhance problem resolution.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with producers, group plan administrators, and advisors to foster collaboration and trust.

  • Assist Sales Consultants in identifying opportunities for premium growth, including participating in advisor meetings, delivering compelling presentations, preparing documents, and coordinating reports.

  • Process client requests for policy terminations, Agent of Record transfers, plan design changes, legal name updates, billing adjustments, and other administrative tasks.

  • Conduct in-person and virtual (e.g., Webex) meetings with plan administrators and brokers to strengthen relationships and address needs.

  • Ensure accurate producer contact information and records in Salesforce.com, Licensing, and Compensation systems.

What will you need to succeed?
Must Have:

  • Strong knowledge of Group Health and Dental products.

  • Valid Alberta driver's license and access to an insured vehicle.

  • Proven oral and written communication skills.

  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities.

  • Demonstrated account management and problem-resolution skills.

  • Confidence and proficiency in delivering presentations.

Nice to Have:

  • Comprehensive product knowledge across all Group lines of business, including Disability and Individual Insurance.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the employee benefits service industry.

  • Proficiency in systems such as Salesforce.com, Content Manager, Microsoft Office, and Group Portal.

  • Professional designations such as GBA (Group Benefits Associate) or CEBS (Certified Employee Benefit Specialist).
