JOB TITLE: Regional Finance Representative

POSITION TYPE: Permanent – Full time 

LOCATION: Balzac, AB

REPORTING TO: General Manager, Operational Support

As a Regional Finance Representative, you have the opportunity to finance equipment for purchases and provide value added opportunities for warranty, insurance and maintenance products, while at the same time, generating profit for the company. In this role, you will work directly with sales department and customers to provide financing solutions.

Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Receive requests from salespersons or Managers regarding rates, options, payments, payouts, loan structures, and leases for all used and new whole goods.
  • Research options that best promote the sale. Offer solutions based on requirements
  • Provide sales teams with loan calculations, extended warranty quotes and promote one or two extra services such as extended warranty or maintenance plans
  • Once salesman finalizes the sales, communication with the customer is necessary to finalize the loan package so that the salesman can focus on the next sale. 
  • Gather personal information to complete the loan.
  • Verify rates and terms, offer life insurance on and physical damage insurance (CNH only), extended warranty and maintenance plans. 
  • Request who their Farm Insurance Agent is so that addition and release is obtained. 
  • Receive questions on extended warranty and other options.
  • Travel to locations within assigned territory to take part in sales meetings, meet with customers, offer solutions to sales teams, present documents and take part in conquest customer strategies and meetings on an as required basis.
  • Monitor the sold reports for lien search purposes, ensure liens are released
  • Monitor opportunity provided by the salesman to know how many deals the finance office is actually receiving and how many opportunities were missed. Opportunity lost for each sale. 
  • Consolidate FCC, CNH, Agricredit, National standard and unpublished rates and provide monthly recap of these quotes to offer as a sales tool for the salesperson
  • Monthly review of P&A prospects and accounts from CNH – split this out per province and per store. Highlight high rates or interest waivers coming due in coming months, review with salesman. Each salesman within the region now has a monthly report for prospects for new machines. 
  • Promotion and development of a standard warranty program; work with sales team to promote warranty sales
  • Training and development with all sales, parts and service personal to educate on finance and insurance opportunities.
  • Assist with training and development of new F&I department staff
  • Work closely with Finance Coordinator to ensure all required documentation, including certificates of insurance are submitted on time to avoid any penalties. 

Job Requirements and Qualifications Include:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a relevant and related finance role
  • Post-secondary education in Business Finance or related field
  • Knowledge of lending, lien searches, life insurance, and warranty
  • Advanced problem-solving skills required
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Strong mathematical and financial calculation skills
  • Advanced computer skills (MS Office Suite & Typing)
  • Exceptional communication and relationship management skills
  • Proficient time management skills
  • Agricultural industry experience an asset 
  • Sales experience an asset
