Your RoleAs a Crop Inputs Representative, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, strengthening relationships with existing customers, and playing a key role in providing agronomic solutions and selling crop inputs products, ensuring customers receive expert advice and high-quality service.Day to Day
  • Prospect new customers and expand business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with growers by understanding their needs and providing agronomic services.
  • Offer technical support and advice on crop inputs products to help maximize yields and profitability.
  • Stay current on the latest crop input technologies, industry advancements and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Crop Inputs Manager, Merchant, and suppliers to stay updated on product availability and pricing.
  • Assist with operations and administrative duties as required to ensure efficient delivery and exceptional service.
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in an Agriculture-related program or experience in an Agriculture retail business.
  • P.Ag or CCA certification (or the ability to obtain) is an asset.
  • Experience in dealing with agricultural producers.
  • Knowledge of local crops and crop protection solutions.
  • Sales and customer service skills, with the ability to execute plans that drive revenue generation.
  • Valid driver’s license is required.
