Ready to make your mark in the Show-Me State? Gateway First Bank is looking to add a Consumer Lending Account Manager that focuses on Home Improvement in Missouri. Join us in shaping the future of this exciting new division and making a meaningful impact from the ground up.

Consumer Lending Account Manager:

- This role is full-cycle sales. There is no lead generation, so a self-starter that will take it and run!

- Prefer 7 yrs of consumer lending exp (home improvement financing exp a plus). However, if you have been a salesperson that has worked with home improvement contractors or has sold financing to contactors, we’d like to speak with you!

- MeridianLink is a nice-to-have but open to exp with any LOS system.

Consumer Lending Account Manager JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for identifying, recruiting, and signing contractor partners in the market and driving adoption of the Bank’s financing solutions. Owns the full sales cycle from prospecting and pitching through closing and ongoing account management while operating as a self-starter in a highly entrepreneurial environment with minimal lead support.

Consumer Lending Account Manager ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (RESPONSIBILITIES):

• Identifies, recruits, and signs contractor partners in the Oklahoma City market.

• Manages contractor relationships and ensure they actively offer our financing solutions.

• Owns the full sales cycle including prospecting, pitching, closing, and ongoing account management.

• Operates as a self starter with minimal lead support in a highly entrepreneurial environment.

• Participates in the department hiring, promotion, and review process while managing, mentoring, and improving support staff performance. Coaches and develops team to ensure we are meeting the needs of the company.

• Exercises awareness with regard to possible suspicious activity, money laundering or fraudulent behavior and reports any such incidents to the BSA department. Performs all job functions in compliance with all company policies and federal, state, and local laws and regulations as applicable to the position, including, but not limited to BSA/AML, OFAC and GLBA/privacy rules.

• Performs related responsibilities as required or assigned.

Consumer Lending Account Manager REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Advanced knowledge in Consumer Lending specifically in Home Improvement Lending policies, procedures, and practices.

• Proficient in MS Office.

• Strong communication and presentation skills for engaging contractors and their sales teams.

• Ability to develop relationships.

Equivalent Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or equivalent work experience.

• 7 years of Consumer Lending or equivalent experience.

• Consumer lending experience required, ideally within home improvement financing.
