Insurance Account Manager Trainee – Insurance Agency

Location: Lexington, S. C.
Job Type: Full-Time | In-Office

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm (1 hour lunch break)


We are looking for a friendly, organized, and motivated Insurance Account Manager Trainee/Receptionist to join our growing insurance agency. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and is interested in building a long-term career in the insurance industry.


In addition to handling front desk duties, administrative responsibilities, and assisting our Personal Lines and Commercial Lines account managers. The right candidate will receive company-supported training to obtain their Property & Casualty Insurance License. As they progress, they will be cross-trained in both Personal Lines and Commercial Lines insurance, creating opportunities for professional growth within our agency.


Responsibilities


  • Greet clients and visitors with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
  • Take payments
  • Process mail, emails, and other office correspondence.
  • Maintain organized client files and office records.
  • Assist with general administrative and clerical duties.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients.
  • Participate in training to earn a Property & Casualty Insurance License.
  • Learn and assist with Personal Lines insurance, including auto, home, renters, and umbrella policies etc.
  • Learn and assist with Commercial Lines insurance, including business insurance products and policy servicing.
  • Support licensed agents with policy changes, renewals, quoting, and customer follow-up as training progresses.


Qualifications


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and email.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Prior receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
