Our client, a well-established financial services organization with a growing insurance division, is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager to support its expanding portfolio. This role focuses on providing high-quality service to personal insurance clients, maintaining strong carrier relationships, and supporting advisors and producers with accurate, timely information. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Job Description
As a Personal Lines Account Manager, you will represent our client's insurance division with professionalism and courtesy, delivering efficient and accurate service to customers, agents, and insurance carriers. You will be responsible for policy servicing, documentation, client communication, marketing support, and claims coordination. This role requires adherence to established procedures, regulatory standards, and internal service expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Enter and maintain accurate policy information in EPIC, including servicing tasks, transaction processing, and documentation.
  • Review new business, renewals, and endorsements to ensure accuracy and alignment with requests.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries, advisor needs, and carrier requests.
  • Rate new business or coordinate rating with carriers; provide marketing insights and coverage recommendations to producers.
  • Prepare proposals and coverage recommendations to support client understanding and reflect the professional image of the agency.
  • Manage follow-ups and outstanding activities with thorough documentation in EPIC.
  • Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities; refer cross-sell prospects to producers and handle applicable up-sell activities directly.
  • Report and monitor claims, providing follow-up and service in accordance with procedures.
  • Stay current on carrier underwriting guidelines, binding authority, and insurance policy provisions.
  • Maintain proficiency in agency systems, third-party resources, and applicable software tools.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with carriers, producers, colleagues, and clients.
  • Support general office duties as needed.
  • Conduct all activities in compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Protect sensitive information by following information-security policies and standards.
  • Maintain prompt and reliable attendance.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Active state insurance license (Property & Casualty).
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and strong data-entry capabilities.
  • Clear and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong customer-service orientation and professional presence.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and remain composed under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in Property & Casualty insurance.
  • Experience working in an agency management system such as EPIC.
