Job description

Overview
Reports to: Varies by location
Functions Supervised: None
Primary Functions: Responsible for the support and service of GIB customers
Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Perform customer service functions necessary to support clients to include policy changes, new business, claims and addressing billing issues.
  2. Utilize multiple insurance carriers with a comprehensive understanding of their guidelines and products.
  3. Educate customers on policy coverage to enable informed decisions.
  4. Develop trusted relationships with clients through creative problem solving.
  5. Perform review of customer accounts to address any coverage needs.
  6. Cross-sell additional products offered by the Insurance Agency or the Credit Union.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education: Highschool graduate or equivalent. Must possess Property/Casualty license.
Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: Not Applicable
Experience/Skills: Proficient with technology including Microsoft Office Products and interactive phone system. Knowledge of agency management systems, particularly AMS 360. Possess strong sales, customer service and organizational skills. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and as a team participant.
Tenure: Personal Insurance Account Manager II (Category 10) requires 18 months as a Personal Insurance Account Manager I (Category 11) or equivalent with performance that meets or exceeds expectations. Enrollment in an insurance program, CISR, CIC or other, is preferred. Senior Personal Insurance Account Manager (Category 09) requires two years as a Personal Insurance Account Manager II (Category 10) or equivalent with performance that meets or exceeds expectations. Must have a demonstrated grasp on Agency activities and have mastered assigned duties. Must be proficient in all aspects of agency product administration. Directly related work experience and/or accelerated training completed may be substituted for tenure.
Compensation
Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and applicable local or state wage requirements, and will fall within the range provided below. In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall between the minimum and midpoint of the listed range.

$63,233 - $99,908 annually

$57,484 - $90,230 annually
