About the Role:

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Commercial Insurance Account Specialist to join our team. This is a non-sales role focused on supporting existing commercial insurance accounts, ensuring smooth operations, and providing top-tier service to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial insurance and enjoy working in a collaborative, service-driven environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial insurance clients for policy servicing needs
  • Handle policy renewals, endorsements, certificates of insurance, audits, and other service-related tasks
  • Collaborate with producers, underwriters, and carriers to manage client policies effectively
  • Maintain and update client files and records in the agency management system
  • Review policies for accuracy and ensure appropriate coverage based on client needs
  • Assist with claims processing and follow-ups, acting as a liaison between the client and carrier
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and ensure resolution of service issues in a professional manner
  • Monitor renewal timelines and assist in preparing renewal proposals and comparisons

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in commercial insurance (agency or carrier side)
  • Active Property & Casualty license
  • Strong knowledge of commercial lines coverage including General Liability, Workers’ Compensation, Commercial Auto, and Property
  • Proficient in agency management systems (e.g., EPIC, AMS360, Applied) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client accounts
