Sunland SpecialtyInsurance Group is looking for an experienced, licensed Account Manager.Candidate will be responsible for Commercial Lines and Personal Lines Account Management and is located in Chattanooga, TN:

  • Responsiblefor the day to day servicing our commercial/personal insurance clients in orderto provide outstanding customer service by communicating via email, phone andin person.
  • Determinesappropriate client service support for new and existing clients; responds toclient and carrier inquiries, maintains, and enhances the company'srelationships with existing clients by executing proactive and ongoing contactinitiatives.
  • Promptlyrespond to policy coverage related questions from clients in accordance withagency standards and workflows.

Independently enters and maintains accounts/policies inApplied EPIC, reviews insurance policies and endorsements for accuracy; reviewscontracts and special certificate of insurance requests for compliance andresponse to insured.

the needs of the client and identify cross-selling opportunities;expands/rounds-out existing accounts by identifying potential gaps in coverage,recommending, and implementing proper coverage. keeping him/her informed of pertinent information regarding the accounts andprovides support and assistance for the development of new business.

Core Competencies:

3+ years of commercial lines insurance agency/personallines

An active Tennessee P&C license required

Exceptional customer service skills

Excellent multi-tasking, organizational, delegation anddecision-making skills

Outstanding verbal/written communication skills

Ability to perform large work volumes with high degrees ofaccuracy

PC proficiency, including MS Office and can use an agencymanagement software program

ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to assist others at all times

Education/Experience:

  • Proficientwith computer technical skills including with experience working in an agencymanagement system preferred (Epic).
  • HighSchool Diploma; 3+ years' experience commercial insurance industry/personallines industry.
