  Amenities: 

The County of Northumberland offers a full benefits package including health insurance, prescription, vision, dental, vacation, holiday, sick, personal time, and retirement. 

What You'll Do: 

  •  Work closely with Weatherization Auditor to assure materials for potential jobs are ordered correctly. Oversee every aspect of work that is being performed and supervise crew at all times.
  •  Review all job sheets, load trucks, anticipating any extra materials and have a plan for all crew members he is supervising.
  •  Work with crew on all jobs, including insulating, installation or repair of windows or doors, Tyvek, caulking, re-glazing, blower door test, (have knowledge of all weatherization work).
  •  Explain anticipated work to client and answer any questions before work has begun.
  •  Maintain constant awareness of safety practices of the workers and clients.
  •  Make sure the services and materials the client has received meets a quality standard and that all possible energy education measures were performed and completed by crews.
  •  Do a blower door posttest for reduction readings, check all work that was written up by auditor to make sure all was completed before leaving.
  •  Complete required paperwork for jobs before and after completion.
  •  Report to Weatherization Coordinator of job performance, efficiency, and work performed on job.
  •  Report to Weatherization Coordinator for any vehicle maintenance, tool maintenance and repairs, etc.

  Minimum Training & Experience:

Applicant must possess or obtain all required schooling set by DCED standards.
